A Butterfly flew to a flower bed,
And there was a bee buzzing 'round her head.
She said, with those tiny wings, how can it be
That you can fly just the same as me? She said

It's impossible for bees to fly.
Your wings aren't big enough, so why even try?
Don't tell a bee that it can't be done!
He'll just do the impossible and fly away home.

A bird was sitting on a branch up high
When a bumble bee came flying by.
He said my feather wing lifts and soars
But how does it work with wings as small as yours?

He said It's impossible for bees to fly.
Your wings aren't big enough, so why even try?
Don't tell a bee that it can't be done!
He'll just do the impossible and fly away home.

Bridge:
A bee buzzed around a boy just as a plane flew by.
He said - it doesn't make sense, Daddy; how can a bumble bee fly?
With tiny little wings that move like a flash,
I don't understand Daddy. Why doesn't  it just fall and crash?

And Daddy said:
A bee's not a bird or a butterfly,
or a winged airplane, way up in the sky.
It weaves it's wings, like it's swimming through air
And buzzes around like it hasn't a care.

It's not impossible for bees to fly.
Their wings are tiny, but they soar through the sky.
So don't tell a bee that it can't be done!
He'll just do the impossible and fly away home.
